PT Metrodata Electronics Tbk ("the Company") is engaged in the ICT business and is one of the leading companies in the field in Indonesia.
1975
The origin of the METRODATA business group was traced back to April 25, 1975 when it began in the business of stationeries and continuous form printer paper.
1983
Establishment of the Metrodata group, whose business had been initiated earlier, in 1975.
1989
On October 10, 1989 the name was changed to PT Metrodata Epsindo.
1990
On February 14, 1990, the Company launched its Initial Public Offering on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX: MTDL).
1991
On March 28, 1991, the name was changed to PT Metrodata Electronics Tbk as it is known today.
1996
On March 1, 1996, the Company founded PT Mitra Integrasi Informatika, a solution business unit originated from the direct sales team of the Company.
2000
On May 23, 2000, the Company founded PT Metrodata E Bisnis, a distribution business unit originated from the distribution sales team of the Company.
2008
In 2008, the Company acquired Soltius Asia Pte. Ltd., an established SAP consulting company and owner of PT Soltius Indonesia. The Company also acquired 37.21% of PT Xerindo Teknologi, specializing in radio planning, installation, commissioning, and maintenance.
2009
In 2009, the Company increased its ownership in PT Xerindo Teknologi, strengthening its telecommunications infrastructure capabilities.
2010
In December 2010, the Company completed the exercise of a Put Option on its shares in PT E Metrodata Com to BT Frontline Pte. Ltd., mitigating the impact of Sun Microsystems Inc. acquisition by Oracle USA Inc.
2011
In early 2011, the Company's distribution subsidiary established a joint venture with King's Eye Investments Limited (Synnex). In the same year, the Company established PT My Icon Technology for modern retail of ICT products.
2012
In 2012, the Company and Logicalis Singapore Pte. Ltd. established PT Logicalis Metrodata Indonesia, engaged in integrated ICT solutions and services.
2016
On March 11, 2016, subsidiary PT Synnex Metrodata Indonesia established PT Synnex Metrodata Technology and Services (SMTS). The Company recorded Rp10 trillion in net sales.
2017
In 2017, PT Mitra Integrasi Informatika acquired shares in PT Metro Mobile Indonesia. The Company also acquired shares in PT Packet Systems Indonesia, engaged in broadband network and infrastructure system integration.
2018
On March 1, 2018, PT Logicalis Metrodata Indonesia merged with PT Packet Systems Indonesia. On May 1, 2018, PT Synnex Metrodata Indonesia acquired PT My Icon Technology.
2019
Inauguration of the Modern Logistic Center in MM2100 Industrial Estate, Cibitung. Appointed as the only IoT Solution Aggregator in Indonesia by Intel. The Company's shares were listed in the Pefindo25 index. Net sales exceeded Rp15 trillion.
2020
MTDL shares featured in Kompas100, IDX80, FTSE Micro Cap, FTSE Total-Cap (KMSμ), Jakarta Islamic Index 70 (JII70), and IDX Value 30 (IDXV39).
2021
Transformation of the Company's identity into a digital solution provider and technology innovator, with investments in venture capital and a startup in the e-groceries market.
2022
On June 10, 2022, the Company formed a joint venture, PT cacaFly Metrodata Indonesia, with cacaFly International Media Co, to provide data-driven marketing services and solutions.
